About the Speaker

Trevor Cape is a senior career coach who helps Unison members navigate next steps in their careers. A musician, songwriter and performer himself, as well as an executive coach, he has over ten years experience coaching creatives through career and life evolutions.

The key to Trevor’s coaching success is in his ability to understand and articulate the strengths and value proposition of his clients. He enjoys arming them with perspectives and customized messaging to help them identify and pursue their work of choice.

Key areas of his expertise include ideation, personal branding, positioning, strategic communications, networking, interviewing, resumes, social media, proactive job search strategies and business building. He has coached thousands of people, independently and at some of Canada’s top HR companies, and currently counts NABS and MaRS among his clients.

Prior to building his expertise in personal branding, Trevor spent his early career at the world’s largest branding company, Interbrand, working locally and globally, as Director HR, Marketing and Knowledge Management.
