Music Managers Forum Canada Partners with Unison

MMF Canada Partners with Unison Benevolent Fund to Help the Canadian Music Community in Times of Need

Toronto, Ontario – MMF Canada is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Unison Benevolent Fund, a non-profit organization that provides counseling, emergency relief, and benefit programs for those in the Canadian music community who face personal or professional challenges due to hardship, illness, unemployment or economic difficulties.

The Unison Benevolent Fund is an assistance program – created and administered for the music community, by the music community. Unison is designed to provide discreet relief to music industry personnel, including managers, in times of personal hardship and crisis. Unison is not membership based and there are no registration fees or membership dues. However, Unison asks that everyone in the music community register online. Registering with Unison helps in two ways: with greater numbers, Unison will be able to negotiate better discounts and services, plus it allows Unison to communicate to more people in the community and ask them to help spread the word about Unison.

Registration information is kept strictly confidential and will not be sold or given to anyone else, ever.

Music Managers Forum Canada (MMF Canada) is a non-profit trade association serving over 150 members who represent more than 200 Canadian and International acts. As the management sector’s voice in the industry, the MMF Canada objectives are to work collaboratively with the larger music community to offer education, resources, advice, discounts and a network of peers. In addition, MMF is a lobbying force to various levels of the government on behalf of its members on key issues that affect managers and their clients.
