Unison Signs Deal With Shepell•FGI

World-renowned counselling service supports Unison

Toronto, Ontario – December 5, 2011 – One of the prime objectives of the Unison Benevolent Fund is to offer counselling services to the music community in Canada. With that goal in mind, Unison is pleased to announce a partnership with Shepell-fgi, a Canadian leader in providing professional counselling and assistance programs to employees and family members. This news locks another important puzzle piece into place and brings Unison one step closer to providing assistance and relief support for those in the Canadian music community who may be experiencing personal hardship.

With the assistance of Shepell·fgi, the Unison counselling services will be available 24/7, coast to coast to coast in 147 languages. The music community will have access to a network of dedicated professionals who are available to provide assistance for a variety of personal and emotional issues. Shepell·fgi counselling services range from In-Person and Telephonic to E-Counselling and Video Counselling that will allow Unison members to receive professional help anytime, anywhere and any way. With Unison’s $1million fundraising goal in sight, these services will be available in early 2012.
