Welcome back to the limelight, everyone! Without much warning we are all of a sudden allowed to trickle back into in-person meetings, rehearsals and onto stages (both indoor and outdoor) and resume doing our thing IRL (in real life). We are no longer just faces on a screen/zoom meeting/Instagram Story- we have moving, breathing, performing bodies and… is it just me, or are we all just a little fatter than we were 17 months ago?
This three-part series is about mental health therapy with QT BIPOC communities, what it looks like when its accessible, and what to look out for when you feel that something isn’t quite right. My hope is that this information can help you balance the distrust that you may naturally feel about therapy with some knowledge about your rights, or what you are allowed to do, say, feel, or ask.
2 iconic Winnipeg fundraiser shows– EGOpicks’ POP PUNK PARTY and Red Tie Productions’ 90’s TRIBUTE SHOW have come together on June 13th, live from Winnipeg’s beloved Park Theatre stage, to support the people that bring us the very thing that we turn to every day to brighten our moods - MUSIC.
Featuring performances from The 12/21, Winnipeg’s endearing and energetic trio of brothers and NIR-VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER, a collaborative of top Winnipeg musicians playing an epic set of chart toppers from the 90’s + some very special guests from both the US and Canadian music scenes.
